I have been in ministry since 2008 when I started volunteering to work with Youth at our church in San Antonio.  In 2011, I took a bivocational Youth Ministry position at Rolling Oaks Baptist Church. Over the next 4 years, I held a full time job at a local hotel and worked in Youth Ministry, all with a young family.

 

In 2015, I was blessed to be offered a full time Youth Director position at La Vernia United Methodist Church.  My ministry role was expanded to include many Associate Pastor job duties in 2020 as the pandemic became a reality for us all. As this role expanded, I found that God was calling me into a new direction in Pastoral ministry. I opened myself up to the Candidacy program, and through this process, God has affirmed that call.

 

My wife, Diana, and I have  3 daughters. Courtenay and Abigail are in college and our youngest, Elizabeth, is in middle school..

 

I’m an avid sports fan and cheer for all my hometown Dallas teams. (Cowboys, Stars, Rangers, and Mavericks) I also love to play Disc Golf in my spare time. 

 

In 2022, we were blessed with  the opportunity to come alongside First United Methodist here in Palacios to minister to this congregation and this community.
